All for the young gamers. Saturday 10 AM until around Noonish! Saturday 4 PM until 6 PM! Sunday 10 AM until Noonish! Parents/Guardians must be present with their children.

MEPACON will continue two special events that have become Convention traditions - The Painted Miniatures contest and our ever-popular (and often silly) Games Auction.

Contest

Rules:

Minis must be registered at the MEPACON Registration Desk between Noon and 5 PM on Saturday

There will be an entry fee of $1.00 per mini.

Judging will be tentative upon participation. A Category must have at least three entries to be considered valid for judging.

Only one entry is allowed per category per person

You must be present to win

Miniatures Contest Judges are not permitted to enter the contest

Prizes will be awarded at approximately 6 PM Saturday

Minis must be picked up by 8PM on Saturday

The Staff of MEPACON will do all we can to ensure the safety of your miniatures, but we cannot guarantee them

Categories:

Under age 15 -- any single figure, sci-fi or fantasy

Small Fantasy -- any single 25 to 35 mm man to ogre size figure

Large Fantasy -- any larger than ogre sized fantasy figure including dragons, giants and demon/devils

Small Sci-fi -- any single 25 to 35 mm man to ogre size figure

Large Sci-fi -- any ship, vehicle or larger than ogre size being

Diorama/Unit -- any combination of figures-sci-fi or fantasy presented on a base as a uniform combat unit or as a story telling scene

Games Auctions

This year there will be two auctions: the Charity Auction and the Games Auction, both at the Con.
Both Auctions will begin at 6 PM on Saturday. You may drop off any item for these Auctions at the Auction Table from Friday evening at 7 PM until Saturday at 5 pm.
All items in each auction will start at $1, and raise in increments of $1 (This does not apply to some Charity Auction items)
You must complete an Auction Form for each item you intend to sell at the Auctions.
MEPACON will retain 15% of the sale price on each item in the General Auction.
All profit from the Charity Auction will go to MEPACON-designated charities (Our current charity is the American Cancer Society ).
After the conclusion of each auction, anyone with EXACT CHANGE will get precedence when paying.
All payments must be made with either CASH or CHECK.
