The pharaoh Akhenaten is dead. You are members of the royal family, the priesthood or nobleman and women who are attending the Opening of the Mouth ceremony for the pharaoh. While some may consider the pharaoh’s death a tragedy, many consider the event to be cause for celebration, especially those who still worship the old gods whom Akhenaten banned. The two groups of priests, worshiping Aten and the old gods, must decide who will perform the ceremony for the glory and prestige of their cult. As of course with many royal families, secrets and political intrigue abound and there is more than a small chance that secrets best hidden will be revealed.
